Assad regime attacks opposition areas in Daraa south of Syria
Assad regime continued Thursday to attack opposition-held areas in the southern Syrian province of Daraa close to the border with Jordan, according to Syria Live Network.

Assad regime targeted the town of Alama and the road connecting Da’el to Tafas north of Daraa with artillery shelling. Moreover, clashes between opposition fighters and Assad regime took place in al-Manshiyah neighborhood in Daraa.

In southern Daraa, Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters targeted Wednesday ISIS positions in the Yarmouk valley with tank shells and heavy machine guns.

Since November, the FSA has launched a series of attacks on the ISIS-affiliated Khalid Ibn al-Waleed group in the Yarmouk valley. FSA commanders have said the FSA aims to uproot ISIS from the Houran region in southern Syria.
