 All groups, including Ahrar al-Sham agree to go to Astana
All Syrian opposition fighting groups, whose commanders or representatives were attending the Ankara talks, have agreed to go to the Astana on the 23 of January, Osama Abo Zeid the media spokesperson of the opposition negotiations delegation says.     

The opposition fighting groups of Free Idlib Army, al-Mujahideen Army al-Sham Seqoor, Ahl al-Sham have agreed to name representatives to participate in the Astana talks, Orient Net learnt from special sources.   

The Southern Front of Syria’s Daraa joins the opposition to Astana. It sets to send some its officers to be in the delegation,according to the same sources. 

In the interim, the Islamic Council, a group of Syrian Muslim clerics based in Istanbul and Ankara, urged the negotiations delegation to abide by the Syrian Revolution’s principles. The council also supported any efforts aimed at halting the killing of Syrians and bombing cities and towns. 

A meeting of the Syrian fighting groups’ leaders and representatives will be held in Ankara to name the 42 participants in the Astana Syria talks.
