Thirteen airstrikes by Assad warplanes targeted civilian-populated areas in the city of Ariha and Jabal al-Arba’een town in Idlib countryside, Orient News correspondent reported.
“Assad jets today hit many areas in Ariha, including the main popular market in the city, causing massive damage to civilians’ commercial shops, and peddlers’ carts selling fruit and vegetables,” he said.
Three air raids by Assad fighter jets hit Ariha city with thermobaric (vacuum bombs) according to activists. There were no reports of casualties.
Orient Net obtained exclusive photos that showed the extent of damage caused to the main popular market in Ariha. Commercial shops and peddlers’ carts were destroyed due to the attack. Fruit and vegetables were smashed and spoiled, while chickens, brought for sale, were killed.

In a similar context, four civilians, including two children, were killed in Assad jets’ attacks on residential areas in Khan Sheikhoun city in Idlib southern countryside, activists reported. In Idlib, two civilians were killed, while nine others were injured after similar airstrikes on the city, our correspondent said. Today witnessed escalating attacks by Assad warplanes on multiple areas across Syria, including Damascus eastern countryside, Homs, and Idlib, causing physical damage and many deaths and injuries.
