Syrians in the Eastern Ghouta took to the streets on Saturday (August 19) to show solidarity with the opposition’s al-Rahman Brigade. Orient News’ Hadi al-Munajed, reporting from Damascus eastern countryside, said, "Men of all ages chanted anti-Assad regime slogans and carried signs, renewing their demands of freedom and democracy." Al-Rahman Brigade’s fighters have shown historic resistance in their areas like Jobar and Ein Tarma against Assad regime and their allied Shia militias. Hundreds of Assad terrorists have been killed in Damascus’s Joabr, and all their attempts of occupying buildings there have been repelled by al-Rahman’s Brigade’s ambushes .
