Kerry: Entire world responding to humanitarian crisis in Syria
The US Secretary of State John Kerry has said today the entire world is responding to humanitarian crisis in Syria and he will work with Russian FM and the GCC’s states on the modality of delivering humanitarian aid in Syria.

Kerry’s speech came in Munich Security Conference in which he added: "Providing Syrians with humanitarian aid is essential."

Kerry also said: "Writing checks is not the solution to ending war in Syria."

In respect of ISIS Kerry said: "We will defeat ISIS, no doubt about this". Kerry added: "We have ground troops in Syria and Iraq to fight ISIS and we need to cut ISIS’s life line."

"Fewer terrorists are getting into Syria and Iraq because of Security and we made progress in starving ISIS’ economic roots.

Kerry spoke about the role of Turkey saying:"Turkey greatly contributed to host large numbers of Syrian refugees".

As for the Russian role Kerry criticized Russia for its actions in Ukraine and Syria, accusing Moscow of "repeated aggression" in both places.

Kerry said Russia is defying the will of the international community with its support for separatists in eastern Ukraine and its military intervention in Syria on behalf of Assad.

He also praised European nations for holding firm on the Ukraine penalties and urged Moscow to act in good faith in forging a truce in Syria and to allow a political transition that would end the conflict.

Kerry also said that Russia would have to change tactics if an agreement Friday for a temporary truce in Syria is to actually take effect in a week.

"To date, the vast majority, in our opinion, of Russia’s attacks have been against legitimate opposition groups and to adhere to the agreement it made, we think it is critical that Russia’s targeting change," Kerry said. "If people who want to be part of the conversation are being bombed, we’re not going to have much of a process".

Many foreign ministers spoke in the last couple of days in Munich Security Conference and Syria was the top story there.
