Many killed and wounded in a series of explosions in Tartous and Jablah
More than 110 people have been killed and others have been wounded in the multiple attacks reportedly claimed by ISIS in Tartous and Jablah, Assad regime’s main strongholds in western Syria, Syrian social media users and activists said. 

The explosions took place in the electricity complex and Jablah city entrance, Assad regime’s media outlets said.

A bomber detonated himself in Jablah National Hospital causing a number of casualties, photos showing the destruction were released on Assad regime’s social media accounts.

Another explosion occurred in a gas store in Tartous in which many people were killed and others were wounded.

SANA, An Assad media news agency, reported that 3 explosions in Tartous killed and injured more than 20.

A source in Assad regime’s police department told SANA that 45 people died in addition to tens wounded.

Tartous Today page on Facebook said that 47 people died in the explosions that hit the city.

Tartous is where the Russian naval base is located, while Jablah is extremely close to the Russian air base. 

"Latakia, Tartous and Jablah are the main human storage of Assad regime’s terrorists. Assad depends on these terrorists in his war which has been launched against Syrians since 2011," Syrian activists said.
