Israel will protect Druze in the Golan’s Haddar, Israeli chief of staff says
The Israeli army said on Monday that it would protect Druze in the village of Haddar in the eastern part of al-Golan Heights which is controlled by Hezbollah terrorists who are fighting with Assad terrorists in Syria.

This announcement came on the background of an appeal directed from the Druze notables and tribal leaders inside Israel to the Israeli Defence Army (IDA) for protecting Drzue in al-Haddar from what they called “al-Nusra Front’s attacks.”

The Israeli Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot held a meeting with Druze leaders reassuring to them the Israeli army would take the responsibility of protecting the Druze inside the Syrian town of Haddar. He aslo told the tribal leaders that orders were passed in Tel Aviv warning “all those concerned in Syria” against attacking Druze of Haddar, according to ASHRQ AL-AWSAT paper.
