3 killed by Assad regime airstrikes on Damascus’ Erbin
At least three civilians were killed and many others injured by Assad regime’s airstrikes on the city of Erbin in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus, according to Orient News correspondent.

Local activists said warplanes conducted two airstrikes that killed at least three civilians and caused significant damage to property. 

The Syrian Civil Defense search and rescue volunteers rushed to the scene of the attack. They transported the wounded to medical points and pulled the dead from the rubble. 

A countrywide ceasefire in Syria was declared on Thursday (29 December 2016), after Turkey, Russia and opposition fighting groups reached a deal in the Turkish capital Ankara. According to the deal, Turkey and Russia would act as guarantor countries for the implementation of the ceasefire.
