Speaking in the United Nations General Assembly on Saturday (Sept 29), Walid al-Moalim described the US-led coalition against Daesh as an alliance with the terrorism and war crimes.
The US-led coalition completely destroyed the city of the Raqqa in Syria, committing massacres against women and children, Moalim said.
He also said that the terrorists who conducted bombings in the city of Sweida last July came from the US base of Tanf in the east of Syria.
Al-Moalim accused the White Helmets rescue group members of being terrorists trained by the British intelligence.
He assured that the Assad regime got rid the of chemical weapons as it was required, condemning any chemical attack launched in Syria.
He also claimed the Syrian refugees can voluntarily return to their country, claiming that the Syrian regime with the help of the Russian Federation spared no pain to coordinate and work for the return of Syrians.
Al-Moalim said “dishonest” states are discouraging Syrians from returning to their country.
He welcomed any reconstruction aid that could be given from states which were not part of “the aggression” on Syria, adding that the priority is given to the friendly states.
The Assad regime with the help of its allies will win in the end, and the world states have to deal with this as a fact, al-Moalim concluded.
