Blast kills 3 in Sweida
A rigged motorbike exploded in the city of Sweida, which the Assad regime controls, killing three people and injuring seven others on Wednesday night (July 3), an Assad official there said.

Amer al-Eshi, the Assad governor of Sweida province in the southwest, said the situation was "stable" after the incident.

Sweide is populated by the Druze, a Syrian minority. They they didn't join the Syrian revolution against the Assad regime.

Similar motorbike bombs ripped through the city of al-Bab and Qabasin which are controlled by the Free Syrian Army backed by the Turkish military.
