Thirteen civilians were killed on Friday and more than 20 were seriously injured after Russian jets conducted a round of air attacks on the city of Hritan in Aleppo northern countryside, Orient News correspondent said.
Most of the victims were queuing to get their bread at the only bakery of the city. Loaves of bread were mixed with blood amid a state of panic which was cast in the hearts of civilians, eye witnesses told Orient Net.
The Russian and Assad jets have concentrated attacks on gatherings of civilians at bakeries and in popular marketplaces in Aleppo northern countryside, especially in the cities of Hritan and al-Atareb, Orient News correspondent Khaled Abo al-Majed reported.
In Aleppo southern countryside’s Kafr Hamra, a father, a mother and two children were killed after Assad regime’s warplanes flew over the area and strafed their house with interstitial rockets and machine guns. Their bodies changed beyond recognition, eye witnessed from the neighborhood said.
Assad regime’s barrel bombs were dropped today on many neighbourhoods in the opposition-held areas of Aleppo; Tareek al-Bab, al-Mayaser, al-Hollok and al-Jazmati were among the most afflicted areas.
All these atrocities and massacres are committed by Assad regime and its Russian ally despite the international statements of support for an end to the violence and the need for immediate humanitarian access to besieged communities inside Syria.
