Assad-Russian airstrikes continue in Idlib

Assad airstrikes supported by Russian jets continue in Idlib city for the third day. They launched many air raids today, Thursday, killing a woman and wounding 8 civilians in Ariha in the north of Idlib.
Orient correspondent reported that Assad jets targeted Khan Shihoun and Tal habit in southern Idlib countryside with interstitial missiles. Towns of Bensh, Maaraa, masreen, Taftanaz and the surrounding of Foua were also targeted.
Death doll resulting from the Assad Russian bombardment exceeded 50 civilians, most of them were women and children, in addition to more than 250 others who were wounded in the airstrikes in different areas in Idlib.
In a statement, the Free Idlib Provincial Council said that “We announce that the province of Idlib is a province afflicted with disaster after being targeted by more than 40 air strikes in 12 hours, and we hold the international community responsible for what is happening today and every day in the city. It added that northern Syria is being subjected to genocide at the hands of the regime and its allies – the Russians and the Iranians. The council also said that “hospitals and residential areas were targeted with cluster bombs and bombs that are prohibited internationally”.
