Assad recent campaign of airstrikes, barrel bombs, vacuum bombs and indiscriminate artillery shelling force Syrians to flee from their homes and farmland in Damascus eastern countryside’s Meyda’a, Orient New correspondent said.

“The internally displaced people head to places inside the Eastern Ghouta. More than 2500 families have reached the middle sector of Douma. They have abandoned their farmland and wheat fields,” an eye witness told Orient News correspondent.
Assad terrorists pursue the scorched-earth policy in Damascus eastern Ghouta. Harvests have been burned by Assad incendiary bombs. It is estimated that 100000 acres have been left by Syrian farmers.

Orient News correspondent Yaman al-Sayed made a report in June about targeting farmland in Damascus eastern countryside. Farmers complained about the deliberate targeting of their harvests by Assad jet fighters. The report is on Orient Net English YouTube page.
