Jabhat Fatth al-Sham joined by another opposition faction

Opposition’s Jama’at al-Murabiteen faction, which includes four military formations, declared on Saturday swearing allegiance to and the full merger with Jabhat Fatth al-Sham, according to a statement.
The four formations of al-Murabiteen faction are al-Safwa Brigade, al-A’zm Brigade, al-Ghuraba’ Companies, and Mustafa Dahman Brigade.
In a statement published by Jama’at al-Murabiteen, which was published also by Jabhat Fatth al-Sham, the merged faction said that based on its keenness that opposition factions should be on the same side and unite, it declares swearing allegiance to and merging with Jabhat Fatth al-Sham.
On his part, Abu Anas al-Shami, member of the media office of Fatth al-Sham, said that “Jama’at al-Murabiteen faction was formed two months ago after the four formations [al-Safwa Brigade, al-A’zm Brigade, al-Ghuraba’ Companies, and Mustafa Dahman Brigade] gathered,” explaining that the number of the fighters in Jama’at al-Murabiteen is more than 500, distributed in Atma and the surrounding border areas, in Zardana and the surroundings of Jisr al-Sheghour, and in Hama northern countryside.
It is worthy to remind that Jund al-Aqsa opposition faction declared, after fighting with Ahrar al-Sham, swearing allegiance to Jabhat Fatth al-Sham on October 9th.
