UN aid convoy enters Homs’ Talbiseh, Assad attacks continue

The convoy entered through Teir Maaleh area, north of Homs, contained more than 16,000 food baskets, as well as medical supplies, water purification materials and flour, according to activists.

For its part, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, said on its Twitter account that their aid convoy carrying food, health and emergency items for 84,000 people needy people entered the city of Talbiseh in Homs countryside, with representatives from the UN, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Syrian Red Crescent.

Meanwhile, today on Monday, Assad terrorists targeted residential areas in al-Houleh with 57 mm artillery shells. The shells were fired by the terrorists located at al-Qabu village checkpoint.

Also, al-Rastan city in Homs northern countryside was hit with heavy artillery, mortar and tank shells. Similarly, the villages of Deir Fool and Ezz al-Din were hit with two airstrikes by Assad warplanes.

These attacks come as Assad terrorists continue to breach the ceasefire across Syria which was brokered by Turkey and Russia and declared on December 30.
