General in Iranian Revolutionary Guards killed in Iraq ‎
A source in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRG) announced that one of ‎its military consultants, ‎‎Khairallah Ahmadi Fr, was killed in Nineveh in ‎north of Iraq. The ’general’ was targeted by an explosive ‎device ‎planted on a road which links Talafar to Mosul. ‎

A statement released on IRG website confirmed the ‎death of the consultant in ‎the Basij ‎terrorists, Khairallah Ahmadi Fr.

Iraqi media outlets usually refrain ‎from reporting  such news stories, ‎obeying orders coming from Baghdad. ‎

Ahmadi Fr’s death increased the number of Iranian ’commanders’ killed ‎in Iraq to 71, in ‎addition to dozens of deaths in terrorists, Iraqi sources told al-Araby al-Jadeed. ‎

Ahmadi Fr, the logistics consultant in IRG, is very close ‎to al-Quds Brigade Commander Qasem ‎Suleimani. He was killed along with ‎nine of his entourage, a senior officer in the Iraqi ‎army ‎said, conditioning anonymity.

Ahmadi Fr is considered the highest-ranking Iranian ’general’ killed in the Nineveh battles. Baghdad ‎abstains from declassifying these deaths, because such disclosures could ‎embarrass the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Erbil-‎based Hasan David, a ‎Talafar city council member, confirmed in a ‎talk to al-Araby al-Jadeed.‎

Hundreds of ‎IRG have been fighting with the Shia ‎militias in Nineveh for ‎months. ‎
