US-led coalition warplanes carried out intensified airstrikes on different areas in Raqqa, killing more than 17 civilians, including women and children, and wounding dozens of others.
The coalition carried out airstrikes on Sunday (March 19) targeting Marwa al-Andalus area, in Raqqa western countryside, killing 12 civilians, including the forcibly displaced people.
In addition, the coalition airstrikes targeted Shebher town in the countryside of al-Tabaka city, killing seven civilians, including five of the same family.
The coalition also targeted Raqqa city and its outskirts with several air raids, without reports of casualties among civilians, but the airstrikes destroyed a fire station.
In the meantime, 5 children were killed after an ISIS-planted landmine exploded in Hazima town, north of Raqqa city.
