Russian warplane crashes in Latakia, pilots  killed
Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday that a Sukhoi 24 warplane fell only minutes after taking off from Khmeimim airbase in Latakia countryside.

"Russia Today,” (RT)" TV channel said the fighter crashed due to a technical fault, confirming the death of the pilots.

Orient News’s correspondent said the Russian warplane fell near the village of al-Sharashir in Lattakia northern countryside after taking off from Khameimim airbase without elaborating .

Hama and Idlib have been heavily bombed by Russian planes where dozens of  civilians are killed and wounded.

On Sunday, 10 civilians were killed and dozens were seriously injured after Russian or Assad warplanes attacked a heavily-populated marketplace in Idlib’s Khan Sheikhoun.

The guarantor states (Turkey, Russia, Iran) announced Idlib a fourth de-escalation zone in the middle of September in Astana.
