Russian strikes massacre 16 children in Erbin

Russian aircraft targeted on Monday (March 19), two basements eastern Ghouta’s in Erbin and Zamalka, killing and wounding dozens of civilians mostly children; while regime militias carried on their shelling campaign against Douma city.
Orient News correspondent said, Russian bunker-buster missiles massacred 20 people, including 15 children, in a school basement used as a shelter in Erbin city, which was confirmed by Syria Civil Defense rescue group.
In Zamalka city, Orient News correspondent said several civilians were either killed or injured in a similar attack on a basement shelter in Zamalka city, yet no final death toll has been reported.
Russian aircraft also targeted Douma city with the internationally-banned white phosphorus; while regime helicopters dropped barrel bombs on the city, killing and injuring civilians.
Thousands of civilians continued to flee their homes yesterday, after regime militias have splintered eastern Ghouta into three separate zones in a month-long assault to crush the last major opposition stronghold near Damascus.
The regime offensive has been one of the deadliest of the war, killing more than 1,400 people in eastern Ghouta since last month.
