The Assad regime’s militias and their allies continue bombing and shelling campaign on Daraa and its countryside, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

Assad and Russian air raids have killed at least 45 civilians, mostly women and children, in Daraa province on Thursday (June 28)

Shelling resumed for the tenth consecutive day on al-Musayfirah, Hirak, Bosra and Dael,  in the suburbs of southwestern province, Orient correspondent said.

Syrian activists say at least 20 civilians, including children, have been killed in a Russian airstrike on an underground shelter in al-Musayfirah in the country’s southwest.

Russian airstrikes killed five civilians and injured many others in Nawa city in Daraa, Orient correspondent reported.

Other artillery attacks were reported in Da’ael, Hirak, Mesefera, Sayda, Giza, Keheil, Tafes, Ibtaa, and Soorah.

Relentless bombardment has destroyed civilian homes and at least five hospitals in several towns across Daraa.

The Assad-Russian bombardment campaign, launched on ten days ago, displaced more than 130,000 civilians.

On Thursday, Jordanian citizens and activists called Jordan to open the borders, and to host IDPs.
