Sports academy for children is opened in Aleppo’s Anadan
A new sports facility has been newly established for Syrian children in Anadan city in Aleppo countryside.

Specialized coaches train 65 children aged between seven and 16, in a weekly program that covers all needed skills at Anadan Academy.

The Academy aims at supporting football teams in northern Syria with professional football players.

Anadan Sports Club is the first of its kind in the opposition- held areas in northern Syria.

Muthanna, 7, sees football a breathing space for him and his friends in Aleppo northern countryside.

He makes his best to increase his football and sport skills despite his young age.

His generation needs to make every effort to catch up the lost study and sport skills during war.

“I am seven years old, I came here to learn football skills, and to be qualified to participate in world football matches,” Muthanna told Orient.

Specialized coaches at the academy try to compensate the children for the hardships they lived during the war.
