The Assad regime’s militias shelled the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Idlib countryside on Wednesday (Dec. 5), injuring civilians and causing substantial material damage, Orient correspondent said.   Assad regime’s rockets and artillery fire shelled on Wednesday civilian homes in Khan Shaykhun town in Idlib countryside, injuring four civilians, Orient correspondent added.   Meanwhile, Assad regime’s rockets and artillery fire shelled several villages and towns in Idlib countryside, including Um Jalal and al-Tamanah, causing substantial material damage.   Last week, Assad regime’s rockets and artillery fire shelled the villages of Jarjanaz and al-Tah in Idlib countryside, killing a civilian and injuring at least three civilians including two children.   Last month, Assad regime’s rocket launchers and artillery fire shelled Jarjnaz village, killing at least 10 civilians and injuring others. A de-escalation zone deal on Idlib was reached by the Russian and the Turkish presidents last September to halt the Assad regime and its allies’ attacks on the northern Syrian city and its countryside.
