Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) announced that a number of Assad militiamen were killed in Hama countryside on Thursday (Dec. 6).
Ebaa media agency reported that HTS thwarted Assad militiamen infiltration attempts near Morek village in Hama countryside.
Ebaa added that HTS attacked Assad militia in the surrounding of Lahaya town in Hama countryside, killing four Assad militiamen.
Meanwhile, Jaysh al-Izza regained control of al-Masaseneh checkpoint in Hama northern countryside, after battles against Assad militia.
Last month, 23 opposition fighters were killed and many others were injured on the front lines in al-Lataminah in Hama countryside as they thwarted Assad militiamen infiltration attempts in those areas.
Hama countryside is within the de-escalation zones reached in Syria by the three guarantor states; Russia, Turkey and Iran.
