An infant died on Tuesday (Jan. 15) in the Aleppo city to due to the cold weather and lack of heating materials, local social media and activists reported.
Fatima Jallaq, 40-day-old girl died in Bustan al-Qaseer in Aleppo city after her heart stopped due to the cold weather and her family’s inability to buy heating fuel, the activists added.
Last week, a girl died in Bab al-Nayrab neighborhood in Aleppo in similar conditions.
These deaths have caused a wave of anger among Syrian citizens in regime controlled areas in Aleppo.
