Assad shelling kills, injures civilians in Idlib countryside

Assad militiamen shelled on Thursday (March 7) for the twenty-sixth consecutive day the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Idlib countryside, killing three civilians and injuring others and causing material damage, Orient correspondent said.

Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted civilian homes in Bidama town in Idlib countryside, killing a woman and injuring two children and causing substantial material damage.

Meanwhile, Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted Maarat al-Numaan city, killing a man and injuring four others, including a child.

Assad cluster rockets also targeted civilian homes in Arab Said village, killing a child and injuring a man and a woman.

Idlib countryside is within the de-escalation zones reached on Syria by the three guarantor states; Russia, Turkey and the Iranian regime.
