Civilian casualties as Assad militias & Russian warplanes shell DMZ
Multiple Russian airstrikes targeted on Thursday (March 21) the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Hama and Idlib countryside, killing and injuring civilians, Orient correspondents said.

On Thursday’s evening, Assad artillery shells and rockets and Russian warplanes targeted several villages and towns in Hama countryside, including al-Shariaa, al-Lataminah, and al-Huwayz, injuring four civilians, including a disabled man and causing substantial material damage, Orient correspondent added.

In the early hours of Thursday, Russian warplanes launched two airstrikes on civilian homes in al-Faqie village in Idlib countryside, killing a father and his four sons and injuring his wife.

Meanwhile, Russian warplanes launched dozens of airstrikes on several villages, towns and cities in Idlib countryside, including Maarrat al-Numan, Jisr al-Shughur, and Kafr Rumah, causing substantial material damage.

Idlib and Hama countryside are within the de-escalation zones reached on Syria by the three guarantor states; Russia, Turkey and the Iranian regime.
