Opposition's National Front for Liberation destroys Assad vehicles in Hama countryside

The opposition's National Front for Liberation published footage online showing the moments its fighters targeted Assad vehicles in Hama northern countryside on Monday (May 20).

An Assad bulldozer was hit by anti-armor rocket while it was dismantling the barricades built by the opposition fighters in the village of Huwaiz in Hama northern countryside, killing the driver.

Assad militiamen have suffered heavy losses on the front of al-Huwaiz after they launched an offensive on the opposition fighters in the area.

Opposition fighters rejected any ceasefire unless the Assad militiamen withdraw from the two towns of Qalaat al Madiq and Kafr Nabodeh which they captured on the ninth of May. 

Hama countryside is within the de-escalation zone reached by Russia and Turkey last September in the Russian resort of Sochi.
