Idlib regime bombing campaign is ongoing
Russian warplanes and Assad missiles are attacking cities and towns in Idlib countryside, killing and injuring civilians, Orient News correspondents said.

The regime airstrikes hit on Sunday (May 26) the cities of Maaret al Nu'man, Khan Sheikhoun, Kafranbel, Hish and Sheik Mustafa in Idlib southern countryside, injuring civilians and causing damage in houses and farms.

At least 6 people have been killed and at least forty others were seriously injured by a regime airstrike that hit a popular marketplace in Maaret al- Nu'man, Idlib Media Centre said. Seven others were killed in other parts of Idlib countryside.

After their failure to advance and take the control of new areas, the regime militias target farmlands by internationally prohibited bombs in Idlib southern countryside, burning thousands of dunams, observing groups said.

The United Nations said at least 18 health centers were attacked in the past three weeks in northwestern Syria.

Idlib is the largest part of Syria controlled by opposition fighters and anti-Assad factions with a population swollen following the regime and its allies' advances in other parts of the country.
