An explosion ripped through Aleppo countryside on Tuesday (June 25), injuring a civilian, local social media reported.
The head of Akhtarin local council was injured as his car was targeted with an improvised explosive device (IED) in the northern neighborhood of Akhtarin town, Akhtarin Media Office reported on Twitter.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
Several explosions have blasted the densely populated opposition-held areas in northern Syria.
