Assad-Russian warplanes conducted multiple airstrikes on Idlib countryside, killing and injuring civilians, Orient News correspondent said.

A Russian follow-up airstrike killed on Wednesday (June 26) two White Helmets volunteers, Omar al-Kayal and Ali Asfour, in the city of Khan Sheikhoun as they were rescuing civilians, while similar airstrikes killed at least five civilians in the outskirts of Idlib city and in the city of Maaret al-Numan in Idlib southern countryside, according to Idlib Media Centre.

The air attacks were reported in Heish, Maaret al-Numan, Kafr Sejneh, Karsdaa and Raqaya towns, destroying houses and injuring civilians.

Separately, a rubbish collector was injured by an improvised explosive device in the city of Idlib.

Idlib, Hama northern countryside and Aleppo countryside are within the de-escalation zone reached by Russia and Turkey last September. Assad regime and its Russian allies have breached the deal, killing more than 500 civilians and injuring thousands since the 30th of April.
