Eight Russian-Assad airstrikes hit Jisr al-Sheghoor in Idlib, one killed
Russian warplanes conducted overnight at least 8 airstrikes on the city of Jisr al-Sheghoor in Idlib western countryside on Thursday (July 18), killing one civilian and injuring many others, Orient News correspondent said.

Similar airstrikes were reported in Qabbana in Latakia northern countryside, without casualties reported.

Wednesday was relatively calm in comparison with the blood days which preceded it.

On Tuesday at least 12 civilians were killed by the Russian airstrikes after targetting a popular marketplace in the town of Maar Shurin, 2 other civilians were killed in another town near the international Damascus Aleppo way.

Idlib is the largest part of Syria controlled by the Free Syrian Army and by anti-Assad factions with 3 million inhabitants.

Assad regime displaced thousands of Syrians from other parts of the country as its militias and their allies took control over them.

Assad and Russian bombing campaign has killed at least 1000 civilians since it was launched on Idlib and its countryside on the 30th of April, according to the White Helmets volunteers.
