Assad militias have detained women in Daraa province, Daraa Martyrs Documentation Office said on Friday (July 19).

The Assad Military Security Branch and Air Force Intelligence detained on Wednesday and Thursday two women because they are relatives of former Free Syrian Army (FSA) leaders, Daraa Martyrs Documentation Office added.

Whereas the third woman was detained while coming back from Homs to Daraa.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights records 127,916 currently detained or disappeared by the Assad regime since 2011 and says 14,000 prisoners have died of torture.
