US-led coalition builds observation post near Turkish border in Syria

"basnews reported from an SDF source that the new observation post is set to be completed near the town of al-Derbasiya.

The source added that reinforcements were sent to al-Debasiya and other neighbouring villages where SDF snipers are also located.

The source explained that the aim of building the new post is to deter the Turkish side from drilling inside the area.  

It's worthy to mention that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Wednesday that new US proposals for a safe zone in northern Syria fall short and Turkey was running out of patience as Washington appears to be stalling in efforts to seal an agreement.
