Assad regime militias targeted on Friday (August 2) the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Hama and Idlib countryside, injuring a civilian and causing material damage, Orient correspondents reported.

Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted on Friday morning civilian homes in Kafr Zita town in Hama countryside with more than 20 shells, injuring a civilian and causing material damage.

Meanwhile, Assad rockets targeted several villages and towns in Hama countryside, including Zaka and al-Lataminah.

In Idlib countryside, Assad rockets targeted several villages and towns, including Habit, Khan Sheikhoun and Bidama.

Yesterday, Assad warplanes bombed several villages and towns in Hama and Idlib countryside, killing four civilians, including two children and injuring 14.

Assad regime media claimed that a ceasefire would start on Thursday night if opposition forces fulfilled a Russian-Turkish deal which had tried last year to create a demilitarised buffer zone.

Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey last September.
