Clashes in Idlib's al-Hbeit take place, Assad militias claim making progress
Heavy clashes took place overnight on Sunday (August 11) in the town of al-Hbeit between anti-Assad factions and opposition fighters on one side and Assad militiamen on the other side, Orient News correspondent said.   

Assad media outlets said the Assad militias took control over al-Hbiet. 

Orient News correspondent explained that opposition fighters and anti-Assad factions frustrated at least five progress attempts on the town before they decided to redeploy their forces outside the town. 

Al-Hbeit in Idlib southern countryside, Assad warplanes committed dozens of massacres against its civilians who fled to the north of Idlib seeking shelter and protection. 

Idlib is within the de-escalation zone reached by Turkey and Russia. The population of Idlib swollen by the thousands of Syrians who were displaced by Assad militias and Hezbollah from other parts of the country.
