German FM says Kafranbel hospital attacked twice
Germany’s foreign minister said respect for humanitarian law is declining and that day after day civilians and humanitarian workers and medical personnel are attacked.

“Hospitals and schools are targeted. Just recently a hospital supported by the German government and humanitarian patterns in the Syrian town of Kafranbel (in Idlib) was attacked twice," Heiko Maas said in a Security Council session held on Tuesday (August 13).

Mass also recalled the crimes committed by the German soldiers in the Polish capital of Warsaw which pushed to the international community to proclaim: “Never Again”, which led to adopting Geneva Convention.

We are failing the most vulnerable. We are not living up to our legal and ethical obligations, Maas added.
