Mother, five children killed in Idlib’s Deir Sharqi

Assad warplanes conducted several airstrikes on Saturday (August 17) on the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Idlib countryside, killing and injuring civilians, Orient correspondent said.

The warplanes bombed civilian homes in Deir Sharqi village in Idlib countryside, killing a woman and five of her children.

White Helmets volunteers worked hard to rescue civilians from under the rubble of destroyed buildings in the aftermath of the airstrikes.

Later on Saturday, a Russian airstrike killed two civilians in Kafranbel town.

On Friday a Russian airstrike on a camp near the town of Hass killed 15 civilians, including four children and two women and injured 30 others.

Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey last September.
