Assad militias intensify shelling of Idlib despite claimed ceasefire
Assad regime's militias shelled the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Idlib countryside on Tuesday (September 10), causing material damage, despite announced ceasefire, Orient correspondent said.

Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted on Tuesday morning several villages and towns, including Ma'aret Hurmah and Hazarin, violating a ceasefire announced by Russia on the 31st of August.

Yesterday, Assad militias targeted several villages and towns in Idlib countryside, including Rakaya Sijneh, Rakaya Sijneh, Kafranbel and Hass, with more than 180 artillery shells and 12 high-explosive rockets.

On Sunday, a civilian was killed and another was injured in the town of Kafranbel after the Assad artillery shells targeted civilian homes.

Last week, two civilians were killed in al-Tah village after the Assad artillery shells targeted civilian homes.

Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey last September.
