At least three civilians were killed late on Tuesday (September 10) in the town of Zubian in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zoor, local sources said.
The Euphrates Post Facebook page said the three victims were killed by unidentified armed men who were riding a motorbike. Meanwhile, two civilians were injured by a landmine near the village of Abu Khash.
US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced last March that they had liberated the village of Baghouz, the last area held by ISIS in Syria's Deir ez-Zoor.
