Assad militias kill civilians in Idlib's Kafranbel despite claimed ceasefire
Assad regime's militias intensified shelling on the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Idlib countryside on Friday (September 13), killing and injuring civilians and causing material damage, despite announced ceasefire, Orient correspondent said.

Assad cluster munition rockets targeted on Friday morning civilian homes in Kafranbel town, killing a man and a woman and injuring other civilians.

Meanwhile, Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted several villages and towns, violating a ceasefire announced by Russia on the 31st of August.

Yesterday, Assad and Russian warplanes and Assad artillery shells targeted several villages and towns, including Kafr Rumah, Rakaya Sijneh, Rakaya Sijneh and Kafranbel, killing a school girl and a man and injuring four children.

Assad warplanes also targeted on Thursday the Civil Defense Center in Sfuhen village, putting it out of service, and destroying an ambulance.

Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey last September.
