Two explosions caused by landmines ripped through Deir ez-Zoor countryside on Monday (September 16), killing and injuring civilians, local media reported.

A landmine exploded in al-Baghuz town in Deir ez-Zoor countryside, killing Shaker Ahmed al-Jazaa while he was cleaning his house, Deir ez-Zoor 24 reported.

Three civilians were injured when a landmine exploded under their car on the road to Abu Khashap village in the western Deir ez-Zoor countryside.

On Sunday, a landmine exploded in Marrat town in Deir ez-Zoor countryside, injuring two young brothers, one of them seriously.
