Assad militias intensify shelling of Idlib despite claimed ceasefire
Assad regime's militias intensified shelling on the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Idlib countryside on Friday (October 4), causing material damage, despite announced ceasefire, Orient correspondent said.

Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted on Friday morning several villages and towns, including Ma'aret Hurmah and Maarzita with more than 55 shells, violating a ceasefire announced by Russia on the 31st of August.

Yesterday, Assad militias targeted several villages and towns in Idlib countryside, including Maaret al-Nu'man, Kafranbel and al-Tah, with more than 90 shells and rockets, injuring seven civilians, including two women.

A man died on Thursday of his wounds sustained in an Assad regime’s bombardment on Maaret al-Nu'man town.

Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey last September.
