Assad regime's militias shelled the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Idlib countryside on Tuesday (October 8), causing material damage, violating a ceasefire announced by Russia on the 31st of August, Orient correspondent said.

Assad artillery shells targeted on Tuesday morning several villages and towns in Idlib countryside, including Maaret Hurmah, Babuline and al-Tah, causing material damage.

Yesterday, Assad artillery shells targeted several villages and towns in Idlib and Hama countryside, including Maaret Hurmah, Heish, al-Hawwash and al-Haweeja with more than 70 shells, causing material damage.

On Sunday, Assad artillery shells killed a girl and injured two others in the village of al-Ziainia in Jisr al-Sheghoor city in Idlib countryside.

Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey last September.
