The Turkish Military targetted villages near the Syrian border in Tel Abyad countryside, causing explosions and plumes of smoke in the sky of the area.
Various soldiers were seen behind the border wall, patrolling the area from the Turkish side.
The Turkish led Syrian forces have advanced into new areas as fighting rages.
On October the 9th the Turkish Armed Forces, together with the Syrian National Army launched Operation Peace Spring against what they say the PKK/YPG and ISIS terrorists in northern Syria.
“Our mission is to prevent the creation of a terror corridor across our southern border, and to bring peace to the area,” Turkish President said.
Erdogan also said the operation would neutralize terror threats against Turkey and lead to the establishment of a safe zone that would facilitate return of Syrian refugees to their homes.
