Civilians killed, children wounded as car bomb rips through Aleppo’s Azaz
An explosion ripped through Aleppo countryside on Thursday (March 19) killing and injuring civilians, Orient correspondent said.

A car bomb exploded near the western entrance of Azaz city, killing two civilians and injuring 17 others, including ten children.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast.

On Wednesday, YPG artillery shells targeted densely populated neighborhoods in Afrin city, killing four civilians and injuring 15 others.

On Saturday, an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in a car in Rajo street in Afrin city, injuring a man and a child.

Last month, YPG rockets targeted al-Itihad school in Afrin city, killing Yasin Hemrawi, a displaced student from Damascus countryside, and injuring 12 others.

Several explosions have blasted the densely populated opposition-held areas in northern Syria, including areas controlled by the Turkey-backed opposition factions.
