Assad forces in al-Mezza military airport targeted the southern part of al-Muadamieh city near Damascus with missiles carrying poisonous gases, including serine, killing thirteen Syrian civilians. Many others were seriously affected by the poisonous gas.
Eye witnesses called Orient English and stated that four people immediately died and a fifth one (a child) passed out in a field clinic.
Symptoms of hard breathing and fixed eye gaze were clear on the victims of the air raid.
Assad forces have been trying to isolate Dariah from Almuadamiah city for the past 24 hours using every possible means including serine gas.
Russia was a main sponsor of the deal to strip Syria of its chemical weapons. Assad regime has shipped out 86 percent of its declared stockpile so far, according to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the watchdog agency overseeing the process.
Assad has used small amounts of poisonous gas over the past few months in several incidents affecting more than 150 civilians.
