Ahrar al-Sham appointed Abu Omar al-Ghota leader in Homs.

In the city of Tadmur (Palmyra) in Homs countryside, Assad jets hurled barrel bombs on residential buildings in the north of Palmyra coinciding with air raids perpetrated by the Russian jets killing and injuring many civilians.

Fighting in northern Homs countryside between Assad forces and Homs operation room battalions continued in the surrounding of Tir Mualla and Um Sharshouh villages and in the surrounding of Hawla town coinciding with heavy artillery shelling on the fighting area.

Meanwhile, the cities of Talbisa and Rastan in Homs counteryside were targeted with heavy artillery and mortar shells.
